1. Dish Soap and Warm Water
Pour 2-4 drops of dish soap in a bowl of warm water and mix it together until water is slightly soapy. Put your crystal pipe inside and move it through the soapy water to ensure the inside gets cleaned. You may remove the filter from the pipe and wash it in the bowl as well. Once washed, place on a counter on a paper towel and pat it dry. Let the inside of the pipe air dry for a few hours or overnight.
*Additional Cleaning Tip*: if you have a small brush like one that is used to clean the inside of a reusable straw, you can place that inside the pipe to get rid of any excess dirt.
2. Boiled Water (Must Remove Filter for this Method)
Boil a pot of water on a stovetop. Once water is boiled, remove from heat and place the pipe in the pot of boiling water. Allow it to soak for 20-30 minutes. After this time has elapsed, remove the pipe from the water, and pat dry with a paper towel. You may use a cotton swab to clean the inside of the pipe. However, ensure that it is clean and not sticky, otherwise the cotton will get stuck to the inside of the pipe.
3. Salt Water and Rubbing Alcohol
Place warm water in a bowl, and add 1-2 tbsp of salt (depending on the size of the bowl). Add 1-2 tbsp of rubbing alcohol to the salt water mixture, then place the crystal pipe in the bowl. Move it around in the water to ensure that it gets cleaned inside and out. You may let it soak for about 20 minutes to make sure there is no resin left inside your pipe. Once it is done soaking, remove the pipe from the bowl and pat dry with a paper towel. Let the pipe air dry for a few hours or overnight to ensure the inside is fully dry.
